A friend of mine once told me..
“If you don’t do it now, you never will.”
This is something I struggle with because I love making to-do lists. I am slowly realizing that if I accomplish all of those little annoying tasks as they come to mind, it clears up tons of space in my life, and my to-do list, for more important things. Like spontaneously driving to Fort Worth after discovering my adorable pregnant friend from San Francisco was going to be there!
Story behind the epiphany(rambling):
Before leaving for Fort Worth, I noticed a dead cockroach on my grandmother’s stairs that I passed numerous occasions, each time making a mental note to bury it at sea as soon as I was done doing whatever I was doing.
I of course forgot.
Grandma then sees the roach, decides to climb the menacing staircase she usually doesn’t dare encroach upon, falls and gets a compound fracture in her collar bone.
Needless to say, today has been full of doing things now as opposed to never. I FEEL SO GUILTY!!
